Would you like to be notified when new Corning Museum of Glass publications are available?
Each year The Corning Museum of Glass publishes several publications pertaining to the history, technology, or art of glass and glassmaking. These publications serve both glass experts and the general public, providing valuable information and reference.
Two publications are issued annually:
- New Glass Review is a survey of jury-selected works in glass submitted for review by artists from around the world. Of the thousands of submitted slides a jury of glass experts selects 100 images and features them in this publication.
- The Journal of Glass Studies presents original research on topics related to the history of glass from its beginnings to the mid-20th century, a selection of recent important acquisitions made by public and private collectors, and a list of articles and books on glass added to the collection of the Museum’s Rakow Research Library during the year.
The Museum also publishes select works by members of the curatorial staff, and two video series that focus on teaching the general public about glassworking techniques.
