Little Gather
Make Wednesday mornings special. Introduce little ones to the Museum through storytelling, magic shows, music, and lots of fun.
Appropriate for ages 3 and up
Free shows take place Wednesdays in July and August.

July 7: Merry Mischief – Medieval Mayhem
Wizard Harry and Magical Merlyn of Merry Mischief bring you songs of dragons, centaurs, spells, and charms. Be sure to visit the summer exhibition Medieval Glass for more medieval fun!
July 14: Suzanne White – A Glass Act for Kids!
Suzanne recreates amusing and amazing stories about the history, science, art, and geography of glass. This journey has been a crowd favorite for years!
July 21: Tommy Gardner – Kangaroo Waffles and Other Treasures!
Singer/songwriter Tommy wows the crowd with songs that will make you get up and groove— including a special song written just for Little Gather. After the show, go on his Scavenger Hunt in the Museum!
July 28: Nels Cremean of In Jest – The Greatest Show on Mirth
Incredible juggler, scientist, and funny guy, Nels is back with a fantastic show! Watch plates, cups, and pins fly through the air as you learn about gravity, math, and science.
August 4: Prismatic Magic – A Summer Jam Spectacular
Learn about the magic and science of lasers as you watch dazzling laser animation set to popular tunes. A rockin’ welcome to August!
August 11: Susan Rozler – Mama Earth’s Kitchen Band
Susan brings lively music and instruments from near and far—even some from the kitchen! Sing, clap and dance along with environmentally themed country fun!
August 18: Judy Stock – Instruments Around the World
Sing along with Judy as she plays the banjo, guitar, spoons, and some other wacky instruments. Be sure to look for glass instruments in the galleries after the show!
August 25: Miss Kristy and Friends – Shelves of Stories
Look around you. There are many stories waiting to be told and songs waiting to be sung. Some of your favorite characters gather together to end the summer on a high note!

We encourage you to visit the galleries after each Little Gather to explore objects related to that day’s topic. Admission to the Museum is free for kids and $14.00 for adults ($6.00 for local residents in the 148, 149, and 169 ZIP codes). Ask to have your Admission ticket turned into an Admission Only membership and come for the rest of the year for FREE.
